Movie Survey Day 3 @ Hledan Center
YANGON, MYANMAR – The survey questionnaire, “Myanmar Movie – Are They for Me?”, conducted in support of the Movie for Charity initiative, was held at Hledan Center, one of the trendiest shopping destinations in Yangon and a location often described as a melting pot of the city. The vibrant setting provided an ideal opportunity for the MP team to connect directly with a diverse cross-section of the public, inviting shoppers and visitors to share their opinions, preferences, and experiences regarding Myanmar films. The survey created an engaging platform for people from different backgrounds to participate and contribute their perspectives to the project.
The gathering at Hledan Center formed an important part of the broader audience research behind the Movie for Charity initiative. By reaching people in a busy and diverse community setting, the team was able to encourage wider participation and gather valuable insights into what audiences want from Myanmar cinema. The questionnaire not only supported the project’s market assessment but also helped strengthen the connection between filmmakers and moviegoers, bringing public opinion into a larger conversation about cinema, international productions, and the potential of films connected to meaningful charitable causes.
