SAN BRUNO, CA — A special meet-and-greet brought together the lead cast, production team, supporters, and members of the community during filming at Skyline College, creating a memorable occasion that connected the filmmaking experience with the charitable mission behind Myittar (Unbroken Ties). More than 400 guests attended the live theater shoot, which also featured cultural dance B-roll, adding a vibrant cultural dimension to the production and allowing the audience to experience the energy of the project from a unique behind-the-scenes perspective. The gathering provided an opportunity for attendees to meet members of the cast and production team while witnessing the collaborative work involved in bringing the film to life.

Beyond celebrating the film and its talented team, the event carried a meaningful charitable purpose, with all ticket proceeds donated to the Mary K. Yap Foundation in support of orphaned children. This combination of cinema, cultural expression, community participation, and charitable giving reflected the heart of Myittar (Unbroken Ties) and its message of compassion and hope. The evening became more than a production event; it represented a collective effort to use storytelling and community support to contribute toward a cause that remains central to the film’s purpose.
