YANGON, MYANMAR – Under the leadership of Su Sandar and Meme Lwin, the Mandalay Productions team met with Chairman Zin Wine and representatives of the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization (MMPO) to discuss and plan a nationwide survey titled “Myanmar Film: Are They for Me?” The initiative was designed to gather meaningful insights into the preferences, interests, and expectations of moviegoers across Myanmar before moving forward with the production of the charity film Myittar. The meeting provided an important opportunity to discuss the survey’s objectives and establish a coordinated approach for reaching audiences across the country.

The planned nationwide research represented an important part of the preparation for Myittar, allowing the production team to better understand the audience it hoped to reach through the film. By engaging with the MMPO and developing a structured survey, Mandalay Productions sought to create a stronger connection between filmmakers and moviegoers while gathering valuable perspectives on Myanmar cinema. This collaborative effort reflected the team’s commitment to careful preparation and audience engagement, laying an important foundation for a charity film intended to combine meaningful storytelling with a broader humanitarian purpose.
